While the classic Americana television series Twin Peaks awaits a nearly 25-year revival and return for a 3rd season — and its revered co-creator and Director David Lynch has reassured Twitter users that he is most definitely on board — the staying power of the original opening sequence is strong.

For this reason, or just out of sheer fandom, new YouTube user And The World Was Paper recreated the entire opening sequence using paper animation. From the Bewick’s Wren to sparks flying on sawmills to the Snoqualmie Falls, this animation subtly and beautifully recreates nearly three minutes of introduction that few ever fast-forward through:
