I think Valentine’s Day often gets hijacked by expensive expectations, so I wanted to share this video my friend Andrea made about her sister’s valentine project for DODOcase, a local SF business that’s keeping the art of bookbinding alive and well (even though they’re hand-binding iPad cases and not books). The video shows off their special edition Valentine DODOcase, but it’s really about what I think of as the true spirit of Valentine’s Day: “People are awesome. People are cool. They just need to be reminded of it sometimes.” And today is a great day to do it!
