I’m fascinated by this Flickr set by Liz Jones. She collects bits of plastic refuse from beaches and river beds near her home in Melbourne, and then collates them into these beautiful color studies.
In this profile on Junkculture, Liz talks about how she wanted to highlight how lasting disposable plastic is in the natural environment – and how she was attracted to the “contrast of beauty and ugliness.”
