I’m absolutely drawn to the hand-drawn look of these shirts from Slow Loris. Created by two artists, Jessica and Arlo, who live on a tiny chunk of land off the Puget Sound by the name of Guemes Island, you can just feel the love that went into these designs. Arlo and Jessica illustrate directly onto Rubylith film with an ink pen and X-Acto knife, and then burn screens from their designs, silk-screening each shirt by hand. Pictured above is Home Recording Studio and below is Engine, both of which cause the MAKE side of my brain to say “yummy!”
