I took my first sewing class at Stitch Lounge, learning how to refashion this MAKE t-shirt. That was two years ago and I’ve since taken another class (quilting) as well as have gotten to hang out with these fabulous ladies even more at various craft fairs and events around the country. Their second book, Subversive Seamster: Transform Thift Store Threads into Street Couture just came out so I decided to take a visit to catch up with the crafty ladies at Stitch. (Note: The third Stitch gal Melissa Rannels couldn’t make the filming.)
