The Knittn’ Kitten in Portland, OR

I’m in Portland, OR right now getting ready to represent CRAFT at tomorrow’s “Super Colossal” handmade holiday fair, Crafty Wonderland. Naturally I had to sneak in some time to scope out all the cool craft boutiques and shops the city has to offer! So I was thrilled when my tourguides Susan Beal and Sister Diane took me to the Knittn’ Kitten, an amazing thrift store consisting entirely of secondhand and vintage fabrics, yarns, and all kinds of craft supplies. It’s so great seeing these items find a whole new life in the hands of Portland’s super creative community, and the shop is reason enough for non-residents to book a plane ticket! Here are a few shots of my finds. Link.
