Bunsen Burner Amigurumi

In my high school chemistry class, one of the favorite projects we did was make peanut brittle in a beaker over the bunsen burner. Admittedly, I can’t remember exactly what we were learning from it, but I do remember that it was pretty rad. The bunsen burner always seemed to be a key player in cool lab work in that class. And since I’m a big fan of science and craft crossovers, I’m in love with this cute bunsen burner amigurumi from Flickr user, primandplush. Nicknamed “Bernie,” it’s as though his little crochet flame is saying, “Come! Let’s learn something awesome!” [via knithacker]
