Graphic Novel-Inspired Quilt, “Bad Rain”

Yarncraft

Textile artist Ferret (Harrow, UK) made this impressive quilt, “Bad Rain,” inspired by an illustrated spread in the graphic novel Cancertown. She then brought the quilt to a comic show, and scored a photo with the graphic novel’s artist, Stephen Downey, and the author, Cy Dethan (below).
Unfortunately the 629 pixel width of this blog doesn’t do justice to all the great detail in the quilt. View the larger quilt image on Ferret’s website, along with the original illustrated spread.
