doe-c-doe hit the crafty motherlode when recently (she’s a thrift shop and estate sale addict), and unearthed a vintage issue of Woman’s Day magazine featuring an ultra-inspiring holiday layout. She’s done us all a big favor and uploaded the patterns as PDFs in case you want to try stitching up any of these fun creatures for yourself. (I’m totally making the giraffe!)
UPDATE: Looks like doe-c-doe removed the PDF because the content might be copyrighted, we’ve emailed Woman’s Day and asked if they’d be interested in letting CRAFT post some patterns from the 60’s – we’ll let you know if it happens!

This November 1961 issue is still under copyright. Please don’t promote and encourage the posting of copyrighted materials!
I’ve pulled the pdf I had posted from this magazine – I didn’t realize there was a copyright issue.
Glad I got to download before she yanked it.
I just like to see the cute things. I’ll probably never make them :(
thanks for adding that update Jenny. I hope Woman’s Day will work with Craft to make their vintage patterns available!
No problem Gina, I’m sorry this opened up a can of worms. Discussion about these issues is always good of course but I felt bad that you got some snarky drive-by comments on your original post.
