The Printrbot 3D printer website has a live webcam feature pointed at their workshop. While we were peeping the action today, we noticed what looked like a super tall 3D printer, the likes of which we hadn’t seen. Upon investigation, we realized it’s the new Super Z height-extension kit for the Printrbot Plus. Giving your printer a lift is certainly an intriguing idea. According to the site, with this upgrade, you can now print 23 inches tall on the 8ร8 print bed, which is over 1400 cubic inches. Statue of Liberty lamp, anyone?
