Red Bull Creation, a cool DIY competition sponsored by Red Bull, is back with a new challenge for 2013:
It’s been three years with three variations of the nation’s favorite 72-hour themed innovation competition and it keeps getting better. Red Bull Creation returns in 2013 with a new challenge, inspiring technology and a national stage to keep makers, hackers, builders and everyone in between busy thinking of exciting ways to create the future. Bringing it back to Brooklyn, this year’s 72-hour build competition will take place in front of a live audience at the 80,000 person Northside Festival, NYC’s largest annual discovery festival.
Go check out the finalists! I love this balloon UAV created by past winners and fellow Twin Citians 1.21 Jigawatts — it bounces around changing colors and using sonar-triggered quadcopter fans. So cool!
