I’m at the Henry Ford Museum, behind the scenes of this weekend’s Maker Faire Detroit. This is the nerve center of the entire operation. It’s hard to believe that a team with fewer than 12 core players can create an event with more than 260 makers. Current tasks include coordinating the needs of each and every maker, setting up all of the infrastructure, unpacking materials, sending press releases and hanging signs. I’m about to head out for a tour and get my bearings on the campus. Stay tuned!
