DIY Haunts update, fourth newsletter shipped!

Home

DIY Haunts is our contest where you can win fabulous Jameco Electronics and MAKE/Maker Shed prizes by building the coolest and scariest Halloween animatronic prop around. Check out the contest landing page for complete rules, an archive of our weekly contest newsletters, as well as links to tons of inspiring, spine-tingling projects.

Newsletter subscribers will have already received Dispatch #4. These are critical requirements of our contest, because eligible entries must utilize both light as well as motion. And, there is a third component: sound. In Dispatch #5, we’ll be discussing three ways to add audio to an Arduino-based project. It’s gonna be awesome! However, in order to get the dispatch, you’ll have to sign up for our contest newsletter list. If you’d like to, here’s the form:

Conversely, you may be ready to submit your masterpiece. We’ve created a submission page where you can show us what you’ve made.

Good luck!
