If you want something to eat after seeing the new Star Wars movie this year, these gingerbread creations could be just the thing. From an Ewok village to the mighty Death Star, these seven Star Wars gingerbread cookie-based displays show just how far some fans will go to show their loyalty in snack form. Blue milk is, of course, optional.
Gingerbread Star Destroyer
Given the size of this cookie creation, perhaps “diet destroyer” would be more appropriate. Check out the Instructables article to see how to make one. TIE fighters and Millenium Falcon not included.
Gingerbread Ewok Village
For something that resembles an actual house, here’s an incredibly detailed Ewok village. You can find pictures of this build here, including the Death Star above, which is made of Rice Krispie treats. Interestingly, it contains LED lighting and fiber optics to power it’s giant laser. It does look cool, but would certainly not taste very good!

Gingerbread AT-AT
This AT-AT walker looks a little more festive than the Rebels on Hoth must have felt. It obviously took talent to build something like this, but what really sets it off is Luke Gingerbreadman assaulting it with his grappling cable!

Gingerbread Millennium Falcon
Of course the Falcon has to be on this list. Not only is it an incredibly iconic Star Wars vehicle, after seeing it in gingerbread form, it’s actually shaped similarly to a cookie. The video gives a nice time lapse of the construction process as well as a few shots of it when done.

A Not Quite Operational Death Star
It is notoriously difficult to tell when Death Stars are fully operational or not. This one made of cookies appears unfinished, but it is certainly capable of turning one’s diet into a metaphorical planet Alderaan!

Gingerbread NCC-1701
Fans of Star Wars know that the USS Enterprise was one of the most powerful ships in the galaxy, able to shoot photon torpedoes and a giant ray thing, as depicted in this Gingerbread “house.” If I remember the movie correctly, Captain Kirk defeated Darth Maul in Episode II.
Gingerbread TIE Fighter
Hidden in the star destroyer post seen first in this list, is another ship, the TIE fighter. It looks like it would be impressive enough without computer graphics, but the blaster effects are a nice touch!
R2-D2 Gingerbread
With its cylindrical body, this tasty-looking Gingerbread R2 unit fits nicely on a plate. It looks like it may have taken some work to get everything balanced on three legs!
