Sage Rush Cocktail
Simple and refreshing. As your guests walk in on New Year’s Eve, take their coat and hand them one of these.

Cranberry Pomegranate Sorbet With a Glug of Champagne
Anything with a glug of champagne sounds good to me. So. This cranberry pomegranate sorbet, served in a martini glass with a glug of champagne is the perfect thing to break out when your apartment is getting steamy from all the warm bodies partying hard. Cool and delicious.

Elder Scottish Rose Cocktail
With a gorgeous sugared grape garnish, this gin and elderflower liqueur-based cocktail is fresh and interesting.

Holiday cocktails from Rocker Oysterfellers in Valley Ford, CA
Rocker Oysterfellers shared their favorite holiday cocktails with us! Make a Juniper Cranberry French 75, The Southern Pecan, or a Caribbean Christmas (Remember, there are 12 days of Christmas. New Year’s Eve is the seventh day – seven swans a-swimming!).

The Double Rainbow Cocktail
If you want to get everyone laughing, you could mix up some of Camper English’s Double Rainbow Cocktails and then project the “double rainbow – what does it mean?” video on your wall, nice and big. But take a moment to consider if you want your party to go in that direction. Drinking + YouTube = A slippery slope.

Maker’s and Canton
A classic, no-nonsense drink for those guests that wave you away when they see you approaching with your ridiculous rainbow cocktails.

Brandied Cocktail Cherries
Bag the terrible maraschino cherries for some homemade brandied cocktail cherries. Classy.

Imbibe!
And finally, the definitive guide to classic American cocktails – Imbibe! For anyone who appreciates the timeless appeal of a well-made drink – and the uniquely American history behind it. Obviously, this will be helpful for all the cocktail parties that you’ll be having throughout 2011 after people have so much fun at your New Year’s Eve party. Well done!
