Express yourself through some handmade emoji eggs this Easter. These are too darn cute, I think they look so great as a collection. You can get the kids involved in drawing their favorite funny faces on the eggs too.
There are a variety of ways you can go about creating these, with a lot of choices for materials. If you plan on eating your eggs after decorating them, be sure to only use food safe dyes and markers to decorate. Eggs shells are porous and any paint or ink you use can seep through the shell layer and contaminate the edible part. If you’re going to use fake eggs or hollowed out eggs, then use whichever art supplies you’d like.
