Pam of Gingerbread Snowflakes, along with her daughter, Diane of CraftyPod, are my craft gurus in a number of areas, most especially gingerbread houses and advent calendars. Last year, with their advice, I tackled making gingerbread houses from scratch for the first time in my life and had incredible fun. This year, they teamed up for a fun project for the holiday season: a gingerbread house advent calendar! The gingerbread house is slowly decorated throughout the month with cookies and candies to count down the days to Christmas. What a fun idea!
