This is a simple cocktail and a darn good one. And having a simple, darn-good cocktail in your repertoire can be handy.
Ingredients
2-3 Fresh sage leaves
2 oz Gin
2 oz Pink grapefruit juice
Ice cubes
Directions
Step 1: Put two or three sage leaves (fresh!) in a shaker and muddle with the back side of a spoon.
Step 2: Add 1 part gin and 1 part pink grapefruit juice–say, 2 oz (50 ml) of each–and add several ice cubes.
Step 3: Shake vigorously. Strain into a martini glass.
