How-To: Sugar Hand Scrub

Gardeners-Hand-Scrub

After running an oil painting workshop the other evening at kwartzlab, I found myself with seriously grimy hands covered in oil paint. One of our attendees at the workshop pointed out that you can use hand soap and sugar to scrub away all the paint and dirt from your hands. I gave it a try, and boy was I amazed at how well it worked! When I got home I checked the trusty internet machine to see if anyone had a good recipe that I could whip up and leave by the sink at the lab.

Sure enough, it didn’t take long for me to find this tutorial from Jillee at One Good Thing by Jillee. I am loving the simplicity (and color) of this recipe! Looking forward to putting this together as a little gift for the lab, to be used my fellow makers. I think it will be much nicer than leaving a container full of sugar packets by the shop sink, don’t you?
