Mahjong-Cookies-1

Have yourself a little dessert and after-dinner entertainment at the same time with this ingenious Mahjong Cookie recipe by Claire of The Simple, Sweet Life. The beauty of this recipe is that it’s so simple that you can use pretty much any kind of cookie and decorating technique that you’d like, just as long as it results in a functional and edible mahjong set. Claire recommends using sugar cookies, which are cut into an appropriately rectangular shape and frosted with a coating of royal icing. Once the icing hardens the cookies are decorated with edible markers to recreate each tile in an mahjong set and it’s game on!
