Anna at Cookie Madness posts her favorite blueberry muffin recipe in honor of yesterday’s “National Blueberry Muffin Day.”
Anna writes:
These are crowd-pleasing muffins. They don’t have big crowns, but they’re sweet, have a cake-like texture, and most people seem to like them. Even Fuzz, who doesn’t care for blueberry muffins, thinks this recipe is pretty good. This is adapted from a Nick Malgieri recipe which he adapted from Marian Burros.

There’s a really easy and forgiving recipe that I love in the New Recipes from Moosewood Restaurant cookbook. I made muffins with some blueberries threatening to go bad just a week ago. Yummy!
