An oldie but goodie, Instructables user Tetranitrate helps you add a little classic video game goodness to your cup with his Tetris Ice Cubes tutorial. In a nutshell, you make little wooden blocks, round out the edges, glue them into signature Tetris shapes, glue them in place in a tray, coat with olive oil, mix and pour on food-grade silicone, pull out the wood pieces, and you have a custom Tetris ice tray. Tetranitrate mixed some food coloring into the water to get the color, but methinks you could use juice to make them extra tasty.

I'm a word nerd who loves to geek out on how emerging technology affects the lexicon. I was an editor on the first 40 volumes of MAKE, and I love shining light on the incredible makers in our community. In particular, covering art is my passion โ after all, art is the first thing most of us ever made. When not fawning over perfect word choices, I can be found on the nearest mountain, looking for untouched powder fields and ideal alpine lakes.
