The Midcentury Supper Club

I just stumbled upon this fun Flickr group called the Midcentury Supper Club, where participants made recipes from old-school cookbooks and post their photos online. The above pic by Miss Retro Modern features a “Ham and Egg Combo” made with fake ham, mayo, and cheese. As the author notes, “I’d like to tell you all it was horrid, but actually I … erm, kinda liked it. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll NEVER make this again, but it was surprisingly edible!” I’ll take her word for it. Link.
