3it3ot: A dancing NXT robot

Fun & Games

Mindstorms maniac NeXTSTORM created this awe-inspiring “club dance robot” named 3it3ot.

3it3ot’s main body is based on my previous robot named TubeIt.
In 3it3ot’s body you’ll find one NXT brick, one NXT motor (moves the head up/down), one touch sensor (to detect head’s position), one HiTechnic IR-Link and one sound sensor (to interact with humans). Two NXT motors that are outside the main body (located inside the arms) are used to move the robot.

At the inside of each arm I have managed to install one PF M-Motor (for the grab, the drill and the canon). The right arm is also equipped with 2 PF light pairs.

Inside the head I have installed one Ultrasonic sensor (for navigation and interaction with humans), three PF M-Motors (two for the eyes and one for the eyebrows), four PF light pairs (two pairs at the left and right side of the head and two pairs for the mouth). Three PF IR receivers are mounted at the back of the head. All PF elements are connected to these.
