Drill-Powered Tricycle

German designer Nils Ferber designed a sleek, futuristic-looking drill-powered trike, and built it out of stainless steel, with the help of his team.

From MAKE Volume 27:

The driver lies down on the EX, forward-facing. This creates โ€œan exciting driving experienceโ€ and allows the driver to operate the strange โ€œspine-shaped jointโ€ steering.

To steer the EX, the driver has to employ body weight to flex the six axles of the basically groin-mounted spine-joint, a sort of short spinal column thatโ€™s used to flex and bend the vehicle in the desired direction of travel.
