German designer Nils Ferber designed a sleek, futuristic-looking drill-powered trike, and built it out of stainless steel, with the help of his team.

The driver lies down on the EX, forward-facing. This creates “an exciting driving experience” and allows the driver to operate the strange “spine-shaped joint” steering.
To steer the EX, the driver has to employ body weight to flex the six axles of the basically groin-mounted spine-joint, a sort of short spinal column that’s used to flex and bend the vehicle in the desired direction of travel.

I must commend the work they did with stainless. It is much harder to fabricate than mild steel, and I’m sure was tricky to fishmouth for the triangulated support. And though it lacks the same human powered pneumatic input device, the position of the rider is somewhat reminiscent of a South Park episode I saw some years back.
Interesting concept, but there’s no chest support so it’s going to be murder on your arms, shoulders, back and abs after a short amount of time.
