Lego Omniwheel Clusters

Shown here is a later-stage prototype in engineer and hobby roboticist Xander Soldaat’s development of a Lego holonomic drive platform using native Lego system components for the omnidirectional wheels. Some pretty cool third-party Lego-compatible omniwheels are available, but I appreciate Lego-system purism as much as the next AFoL. I chose this photo because it shows off the omniwheel cluster design. Click through to Xander’s blog to see the final version of his Kiwi drive rollerbot.
