After a number of attempts, John Collins, more commonly known by his superhero name, the Paper Airplane Guy, made it into the record books last weekend. On February 26th, in the Fry’s Hanger at McClellan AFB in CA, thrower Joe Ayoob tossed a Collins design 226 feet, 10 inches, officially breaking the existing world record which stood at 207 feet, 4 inches. Congrats to John and Joe!
