Play Kitchen: Felt Tea Bags

MG_1592

There are some things in this world that are just better together: peanut butter and jelly, french fries and ketchup, and of course tea and craft time!

I am talking about tea you can actually drink, but this adorable felt play tea also hits the spot! What a clever and simple little project to whip up for your kids this weekend.

The choice to use wild grain rice to fill the tea bags with is so perfect as it shows off a bit of color through the felt. How about adding some dried lavender or mint to give it an aroma too?

These wonderful felt food toys were created by Ashely Hackshaw at Little Blue Boo. Check out the full tutorial for the tea bags here.

I also had to share Ashley’s totally cute felt pasta package. Super easy to make, and the label is available as a free printable too. You can find the pasta post here.
