Remote robotic dog treat dispenser via Instant Message (MindStorms NXT)

Fun & Games

Nbolt writes –

“Sela the dog gets a treat by someone IMing her the word “treat.” The IM program parses the word “treat” and plays a sound that triggers the mic sensor on the Lego MindStorms NXT robot. Soon you’ll be able to see if the dog is around at boltron.com/sela.

I have also setup some basic commands so you can IM “sit” “come here” and “speak,” and see if she does them before giving the treat, but so far she doesn’t listen to any of them.”Link.

Thanks Ken!

Why would you want to feed treats to a robotic dog?

This video is cool, but cats need equal time! My son and I made a video of our kitten: Cyrus vs the Lego Synchro Drive Robot. Link here
