That is amazing! I would love to see a breakdown of how the twisting mechanisms work. It reminds me of a standard combination lock, but I have no idea how I would begin to do that in lego.

I’m likewise boggled by this.  Where do people get all the special parts needed to do this stuff?  It must cost an arm and a leg to obtain a few special parts that were only part of a couple specific kits.  People who do these LEGO machines must have a fortune invested.

You should check out bricklink.com.  It’s like a hardware store, but for LEGO.  Rare parts do cost more, but you can buy anything you want one-by-one or in bulk.

The flashing colon made me giggle for some odd reason.

      Colons are always funny.

This is amazingly well engineered and brilliantly conceived!  And extra points for the LEGO in-reference in the project’s title (intentional or not).  I’d love some more deets on the twist mechanism too.

my best friend’s aunt makes $70/hr on the laptop. She has been out of work for 6 months but last month her check was $8183 just working on the laptop for a few hours. Read this site NuttyRich.cöm

These guys must have nothing better to do but come up with this brilliant stuff. What is it boredom or curiosity that drives a grown person to build clocks from legos?
