Video game system based on 3 microcontrollers blasts alien’s butts

Here’s a really nice open source hardware/software game system that uses PIC chips to create a genuine 80s style shooter. All of the instructions on how to build this project are on the link below. It might be smart to figure out how to make some of the wires go away though.
