MAKE will be doing a weekend workshop at the Zeum in San Francisco! –

Fun Guys with Fungi:
Nature-Inspired Art with Artist-Mycologist Philip Ross
Saturday, October 14, 2-4pm
Recommended for ages 8 & up

Philip Ross , author of the “Home Mycology Lab” project in the most recent issue of Make magazine will show us how he coaxes and cultivates mysterious fungi to make sculptural mushroom art. Also, Joe Szuecs, a seasoned North Bay mushroom hunter who will tell you how to hunt for edible mushrooms beyond the grocery store to the forest floor! We’ll also demonstrate spore printing, a creative project that’s easy for anyone to do with mushrooms.”Link.

We also have the CRAFT launch on Sunday evening at Craft Gym in SF.
