Nature-Inspired Art with Artist-Mycologist Philip Ross

Philip Ross , author of the “Home Mycology Lab” project in the most recent issue of Make magazine will show us how he coaxes and cultivates mysterious fungi to make sculptural mushroom art. Also, Joe Szuecs, a seasoned North Bay mushroom hunter who will tell you how to hunt for edible mushrooms beyond the grocery store to the forest floor! We’ll also demonstrate spore printing, a creative project that’s easy for anyone to do with mushrooms.” – Link.
