Crafty Chica Challenge: Garden Glam

The Crafty Chica Garden Glam Challlenge is in full effect, and I can’t stop thinking about ways to incorporate all things sparkly into my garden. I live in the wine country (Russian River Valley Appelation, for those who care!) and picked up a great trick from the grape growers. They hang shiny silver tape from the grape vines, and the reflection from the sun deters birds. It’s a great way to keep them from snacking on the fruit. With that, and the Crafty Chica as my inspiration, I made a simple garden windchime that will hopefully keep birds from eating my strawberries! I can’t wait to see your own crafty garden bling in the Crafty Chica Challenge flickr pool! Don’t forget that there are some awesome prizes to be won. Plus, whose garden doesn’t need some glitter???
