Cynthia Combs (a.k.a. Ms. Crafty Galore) has been keeping a fun record of the zany crafts she’s been creating for her upcoming trip to Burning Man. Her projects include festooning her Honda Element with magnetic polka-dots, revamping a store-bought bicycle basket, and adorning a secondhand corset with ribbon, faux flowers (and soon…googly eyes?). Cynthia’s also been practicing the art of crocheting directly on the body, an endeavor she and her tent-mate are calling The Human Crochet Project. If you’re visiting Burning Man, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for them on the Playa. Link.
