June Release Parties for CRAFT: 07

It’s that time again…time for another round of super-awesome nationwide release parties celebrating our latest issue, CRAFT Vol. 07: Shoes! This time around, we’re hosting parties every weekend in June–keep your eye on the CRAFT blog for locations and details.
The fun kicks off this weekend with parties in Austin, TX and Portland, OR. Come on by to make crafts with us, nab special deals on subscriptions, eat yummy snacks and win door prizes! Here’s the scoop:

Our very first Austin-area release party will take place at The Work*Shop, a fantastic walk-in arts and crafts studio offering a ton of great workshops and theme nights (“Gnome Gnight” anyone?). Our hosts are Rachel Hobson (Average Jane Crafter, BurdaStyle) and Leslie Bonnell (StitchLab), with special guests Jenny Hart (Sublime Stitching), plus Katie Dougherty and Sherry Huss of CRAFT. Snacks will be provided by Cookie Madness and door prizes include T-shirts and box sets from CRAFT, plus goodies from Chronicle Books, Naughty Secretary Club, Sublime Stitching, , Stitch Lab and more! Rachel has been posting a ton of sneak peeks on her blog, so you may want to add it to your RSS reader!

Our Portland-area release party will once again take place at Twisted, where you can buy beautiful yarn, take cool classes (amigurumi, temari balls, lace knitting), and sip tea with some of the nicest folks in Stumptown. Our hosts are CRAFT writers Sister Diane (CraftyPod, DIY Alert) and Susan Beal (BeadSimple, West Coast Crafty). Door prizes include T-shirts and box sets from CRAFT, plus goodies from Chronicle Books, Taunton, and more!
