Last night Faith Hale and Tanis Gray, the editors of knit.1 magazine treated a small group to a preview of the Fall/Winter issue of the magazine. They brought the sweaters from the issue and shared some interesting anecdotes about the life of a knitting magazine editor including last minute knitting for photo shoots. I guess it never occurred to me how much knitting they have to get done so quickly. The new issue looks good and includes patterns from 8 popular knit bloggers. Also, the Chinese Zodiac amigurumi patterns are available for free download. Thanks to The Point NYC for hosting the event. I put some pictures from the event on Flickr.
