Prototype This, the short-lived engineering show on Discovery Channel that offered a view into the real-life process of designing and building unique prototypes has completed filming and the production company is liquidating the warehouse on Treasure Island in San Francisco. They’re holding a yardsale on Sunday, February 8, from 11am to 3pm and will have office furniture, welding and workshop equipment, tools, props, cars, toys, electronics, and random bits and pieces of other stuff. MAKE technical advisory board member Joe Grand was a co-host for the thirteen episode series and the program’s electrical engineer and hardware hacker – he says “It will be worth the trip for anyone in the Bay Area!
