If you’re heading out this week to Austin for SXSW, don’t miss the panel I’ll be moderating titled, “High-Tech Craft: Why Sewing and Knitting Still Matter” on Saturday, March 9th from 3:30 – 4:30pm in Room 9. Joining me on the panel is Diana Eng, fashion designer and self-described “fashion nerd” from Project Runway Season 2, Syuzi Pakhchyan of SparkLab, Alison Lewis from SWITCH, and Mouna Andraos of Electronic Crafts. Each of these women are forging new ground in merging fashion, arts, and crafts with new technology. MAKE & CRAFT will also be having a booth at the exhibit area of SXSW. Come by to say hi!
