3D Printer Trading Cards (From the Future!): Collect Them All

In the lead up to the Maker Faire Bay Area back in May, I made a series of speculative graphical blog posts (in trading card form) about 3D printers. The conceit was that these were artifacts from the future found at the Seekonk Speedway Flea Market, but the real goal was to promote the variety of 3D printers that would be exhibiting at the Faire. I counted 55 or so at the Faire in May, and over 70 at the New York Faire in September.

In honor of the release of the brand new Make: Ultimate Guide to 3D Printing special issue, I’ve collected all of the trading cards into one slideshow. Click on in case you missed them the first time around.
