Sean writes in with the weekly update on what’s going on at Treehugger – “a look at a bicycle-themed film festival. A site with DIY projects for everyone from beginners to pros. And, sailing the Atlantic in a DIY boat.”

World Cruising with a Small Footprint Ever dream of sailing the high seas? Well, Sebastian Naslund did, and he went through with it. He built a 14 foot “microcruiser” and sailed solo across the Atlantic and back. Not does the concept of a microcruiser make it feasible to build your own transaltantic voyager, it promotes transportation that leaves an incredibly small ecological footprint. In other words, we love it.
That is it for this time, look for more TreeHugger goodies next week.
