Fort Worth Makerspace Continues to Organize

One of the founders of nascent organization Fort Worth Makerspace, Robert Bradbury, wrote in to share their latest efforts:

We have expanded our mission to go beyond being just a simple Makerspace. We have brought in a business professional to help guide us in achieving our goals. We have three areas of focus we have setup. 1. Give community access to tools, equipment and building space that most people normally wouldn’t have. 2. Educate the community utilizing our collective skills. Host offsite workshops for kids, youth and adults aimed at developing creative and problem thinking skills through the use of artistic expression and technology. 3. Have programs to assist entrepreneurs with taking an idea from concept to prototype and connecting them with the resources to further develop it into a business. We are aiming high and determined to reach it.
