Girl’s Day in Japan

Girl’s Day in Japan

Kokeshitrio

Saturday March 3rd was Girl’s Day in Japan, or “Hina-matsuri” to wish girls a healthy growth. I’ve only just heard about it this year and it sounds amazing! Pictured above is My Little Mochi’s recap of the celebration in her household. I also love Ping Mag’s historical on how-to dress a traditional Japanese doll for Girls’ Day which includes lots of photos and more history on the celebration. Link.
