It’s VERY IMPORTANT to remember that babies CANNOT generate sufficient body heat to maintain a normal body temperature in very cold weather. They also lose the heat they do have faster than adults.
Best advice is simply not to engage in outdoor recreational activites with babies during the winter time.
I wasn’t aware that in cold regions snow only fell in specially designated “outdoor recreation zones”. I guess if I ever find myself in a snowy region I can rest assured that the weather will always be warm and comfortable between me and the shops. :)
That’s terrible news! She’s been sleeping outdoors every single day for two and a half years now, sleeping for hours at temperatures down to at least -10. That may be the reason she’s almost driving us crazy, running and jumping around, destroying everything that comes in her way. Do you think it’s permanent? Is it to late to concider moving to a warmer country?
