It’s tonight! Here at MAKE, we love kits. So much that we’ve devoted an entire special issue of the magazine to all kinds of kits. In honor of the upcoming release of The Ultimate Kit Guide, Make: Live tonight will be the Ultimate Kit Episode! We’ll be talking about crafty kits, beverage kits, siege & ballistics kits, and of course, electronics kits. Ariel Churi from Sparkle Labs will be filling in for Becky as special guest co-host. He’ll be talking about his kits and education initiatives. MIT Research Fellow Michael Schrage will be in studio to talk about “Kitonomics 101″ and how we, as kit builders and hackers, can drive innovation in technology. We’ll also hear from the Make Labs interns, who dutifully built and tested a whole slew of kits. And Becky Stern will be checking in from MAKE Headquarters in Sebastopol with CRAFT editor Brookelynn Morris to talk about cool craft kits, from needle felting to celebrity paint-by-number. We’ll have all that, and much more tonight on the show.
