This month’s Hardware Innovation Workshop (May 14-15) offers an impressive line-up of speakers, presentations, workshops, and product demos all aimed at showcasing innovation and the maker ecosystem–fundraising, strategic partners, technology, and manufacturing options. If you’re involved in the business of making, the Hardware Innovation Workshop is a one-of-a kind event.
But if you can’t make it to both days, there’s a special a la carte option featuring Bunny Huang. The session will be aimed at makers making the jump to manufacturing.
Bunnie is a maker’s maker. He is co-founder of Chumby and an authority on manufacturing and getting your product to market. He will lead a panel discussion that will focus on the mindset and documentation you need to enter the world of professional contract manufacturing. Bunnie’s talk will distill a wealth of information on the business side of making he first presented on his blog.
Following Bunnie’s presentation will be an equally impressive line-up of maker heavyweights: Zack “Hoeken” Smith of Haxl8r, John Park of AQS, James “Laen” Neal of OSH Park PCB, and Zack Kaplan, founder of Inventables.
After those presentations there will be two, 30-minute discussion groups that Bunnie describes as a “master class” for the aspiring entrepreneurs. If you’re a maker looking to “go pro,” this is the session for you.
This panel discussion and breakout sessions are available for $100. Seat are going fast for this one so if you’re interested act quickly. Tickets are available here.
