Maker Faire Auditions this Saturday in Menlo Park, CA

Mf Auditions

Hiya Crafters! We are holding Maker Faire auditions this Saturday, Feb 24th at TechShop (120 Independence Dr.) in Menlo Park, CA from 10am to 2pm. I’ll be there with MAKE/CRAFT Publisher and Editor Dale Dougherty, Maker Faire Director Sherry Huss, and MAKE Editor David Pescovitz.

We are calling these “auditions” but it’s really a chance for you to just come by to meet the MAKE/CRAFT team and show us anything you are interested in teaching or showing at the Maker Faire. I’m hoping that all you Bay Area crafters will come by to show us your cool tunisian crochet, your innovative recycle crafts projects, your refashioning tips, needle arts, sewing, etc. — anything you’d love to share and teach other Crafters at the Maker Faire.

The Maker Faire is May 19 & 20 at the San Mateo County Fairgrounds in CA and also in Austin, TX at the Travis County Fairgrounds on October 20 & 21.

This year’s CRAFT track will be even bigger than last year. You can check out all the Maker Faire – CRAFT photos here.

If you would like to demonstrate a project at the February 24th audition, please contact Natalie Villalobos by email so we can put you on the schedule.
