Once again, theย Rhode Island Mini Maker Faireย is coming to Providence, and itโs just under a month away. Theย call to makersย is still open, and we’ve still got room for makers, so please apply if you’ve got an awesome project you want to share!
Just like last year, weโll be embedded inย AS220โs Foo Fest, a yearly fundraiser/block party held on Empire Street in Providence. Many years ago, it started out life as the Fools Ball, and as the date drifted further away from April Foolsโ Day, the name evolved.
Thereโs no additional charge to attend the RI Mini Maker Faire, and Foo Festโs admission will be $7. Kids under 10 get in free.
The RI Mini Maker Faire will be 1pm-11pm on Aug. 10, 2013, indoors at theย Pell Chafee Performance Center, 87 Empire St., Providence, RI, 02903. Hope to see you there!
