Sonoma County, Calif., makers came out in full force for a day of family-friendly fun at the Santa Rosa Mini Maker Faire today. Organized by Sonoma Family Life Magazine and held at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts, the Faire had many makers exhibiting indoors, as well as a number of makers and food vendors outside on this beautiful fall day. There were lots of kids having a blast doing everything from making and decorating their own hula hoops to racing pixie bikes with the Fun Bike Unicorn Club.
There were robots, art, crafts, food, and more. Upon entering the front door of the building, folks were greeted with Jarrod Suarez’ impressive 14,000+ piece Lego creation titled Mecha Venetor Magnus that twitched and moved.
