TaDaa! Studio at Mini Maker Faire Ann Arbor

Last weekend I had the chance to check out Ann Arbor’s (that’s in MIchigan, of course!) MIni Maker Faire. I loved all of the great exhibitors who showed up, but my favorite had to be TaDaa! Studio. Anyone who loves oil cloth as much as I do has got be good, right?
The gals from the studio were showing people how to sew a quick totebag for all the goodies to pick up at the Faire. Think of it as a Mini Swap-O-Rama-Rama! The project couldn’t have been easier for newbie sewers: SImply take an old T-shirt, cut off the sleeves, make a curvey cut along the bottow, and hack off the neck (ouch!). A simple stich across the bottom gets this tote ready to go. Easy and quick to make, and I’m pretty sure they convinced a few new people that sewing isn’t that hard to take on.

Christy and Rebecca offer all sorts of crafty supplies, from fabric to project kits. Are you in love with their banner as much as I am?
